How Long Does Custom Plush Mass Production Take?
How long a custom plush mass-production run takes, what sets the schedule, and how sample approval, quantity and construction shape delivery — from the factory.
Mass production typically runs about 30 to 45 days after your sample is approved, depending on style complexity and quantity. The clock starts at sample approval, not at your first inquiry, because production is held to that approved reference. Simple designs in standard materials move faster; detailed characters with a lot of hand work, or very large runs, sit toward the longer end of that range. We confirm the schedule for your specific design at quote stage.
What sets the production clock
Production begins only after you approve the sample, and that is deliberate — the approved piece is the reference every later unit is measured against. From there the timeline is driven by how many stations your design touches and how many pieces you ordered. Plush passes through cutting, sewing, stuffing, closing, any embroidery or printing, and finishing, and each added operation adds time.
Quantity works both ways. Our line capacity is sized for substantial runs, so a typical order moves through efficiently, but a very large volume still needs the floor time to complete at the same standard. When timing is tight, say so early: sequencing a sample and a run to a launch date is a scheduling conversation we can plan with you rather than promise after the fact.
What we can confirm
- Mass production typically 30-45 days, depending on style complexity and quantity.
- Monthly production capacity of about 500,000 pieces.

When does the production clock start?
At sample approval, not at your first inquiry. Production is held to the approved sample, so that Gate 1 approval is what releases the run.
Can you hit a firm launch date?
If timing is tight, raise it early. Working back from your date to schedule the sample and run is a plan we can make together; we would rather confirm a realistic schedule than promise a date we cannot hold.
